Feed the quokka.

Every fruit is a kind of goal. Give one to the quokka and see the plan OpenQuokka would make for it.

a day with your quokka

7:02 am

Morning. Coffee first, then the plan.

say hi

Tap the quokka.

It’s your co-pilot: ask it what’s next, say you’re stuck, or start a five-minute timer.

how it works

From “ugh” to done, with you.

  1. Share what you’re working on

Say it, type it, or attach it: an assignment sheet, your notes, a Google Doc you pick, a screenshot of the problem. Only what you share.

  2. OpenQuokka works out the job

“I think you’re trying to…” with the plan, the sources it will use, and what “done” means. One question if it truly needs one.

  3. The work happens with you

It reads, organizes, formats and plans, step by step, while you watch. It asks before it changes anything, and you can pause or redirect it.

  4. You review the result

A study guide, organized notes, a formatted draft, study blocks: each one checked, with what it used and what still needs you.

To-do lists wait for you to show up. OpenQuokka plans the route and keeps you moving.

What people use it for

Learn on a path

Pre-algebra all the way to AP Calculus BC, English, or any topic you name: a few minutes a lesson, a streak, and missed questions that come back until they stick.

Study for a test

Your notes become one page and a flashcard deck, with practice games and a plan that fits before test day.

Start an assignment

It finds the instructions in your files, lists what the rubric asks, organizes your notes and formats your draft. You write it.

Show your work

Solve math one line at a time on the whiteboard. Every line is checked, and a wrong one says what went wrong: a flipped sign, the arithmetic, a step that changed the answer.

Find what’s failing

It reads your own answers: the skills you keep missing, the mistake behind them, and what works for you, like the time of day or the kind of question.

For parents and teachers

A progress link shows streaks, courses and where they need help, never their answers. Teachers get worksheets with an answer key, from their own notes.

What it connects to

Google Workspace first, with the narrowest access each one allows. You can disconnect any of them, any time.

  • Google DriveOnly the files you pick in Google’s own picker. The rest of your Drive stays private.
  • Google DocsSave a write-up or study guide as a new Google Doc, after you OK it.
  • Google CalendarSees when you’re busy, never what. Adds study blocks to its own calendar, after you OK them.
  • Your files and photosPDFs, Word docs, slides, text and photos you upload.
  • VoiceTap the mic and it writes down what you say. It listens only after you tap, and shows when it’s listening.

Not yet: Microsoft 365 and OneDrive, Notion, Other tools over MCP, A desktop app that works over other apps. When they’re ready, they’ll be listed here.

You stay in control

You choose what it sees

Files you pick, a screenshot you take (one frame, and it asks first), what you say while the mic is on. Nothing in the background.

It asks before it changes things

Every change to your plan, Files or calendar shows the exact change first: approve it, edit it, or say no.

You can see everything it did

Activity lists every read, change and approval. Pause or stop any time, and undo what it changed.

It says what it checked

Results are marked verified, partly verified, or not verified. Never “done” because it sounded sure.

Questions

Does it do my homework for me?

No. It does the busywork around your work (finding, organizing, formatting, planning) and helps you understand: hints and questions, not finished answers. It isn’t built for tests or exams, and it doesn’t hide from teachers.

What can it see?

Only what you share with it: files you upload or pick from Google Drive, a screenshot when you take one, and what you say while the mic is on. With Google Calendar connected, it sees when you’re busy, never what.

Will it change things without asking?

No. Reading and drafting it does on its own; anything that changes your plan, your Files or your calendar waits for your OK, and you can undo it afterwards.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes, in your phone’s browser, and you can add it to your home screen. Nothing to download.

What happens to my data?

It’s yours: export it or delete your account any time in Settings. Files you share keep their text only.

How much does it cost?

It’s free while in beta.
